a simple thank you with a smile would make a lot for those tired peeps.
eh yung nag thank you ka, tapos thank you din reply (parang pinoy thing ito, ganito din ako minsan) ^_^

And then yesterday he brought it up again, how come when he comes in the office and says good morning to people, nobody responds, or they just put their head down. OMG. I did not know what to say because at home we also say good morning. I just told him maybe they are shy because you are from head office?

I honestly don't know why these people do not respond. I think it is so RUDE to keep quiet (even if you are shy) when someone greets you good morning
Does your boss conduct short, shift change meetings in the morning (both with the outgoing and incoming crews) to remind everyone that they're a team and to lay out the day's activities? Ours do. Of course, we're a small section. So, it's easily done. Almost all of us are ex-military. So, it's second nature to know each crew member.

I certainly did it when I was shift supervisor (back in my AF days). I also covered for them if they had an appointment or allowed them to swap shifts with clearance from above management. I even did food runs (to Jack in the Box) for mid-shifts if it's quiet and time permitted.

Tv ad...around 300gms ground pork, lady dumps in two knorr pork cubes.

With that many cubes, even 5 kilos of sand would taste like pork.

    the pork, of course!
btw, have you tried pork-tasting chicken?

the only things that go well with sand, are sun & water, and cement.

    heh heh.
