    I can explain this cath.

Once upon a time a long time go, fil-chinese businessmen / traders did not import goods from abrosd coz it is ghost month. So wala halos trucks ng august na lumalarga sa klalsada coz malas ito sccording to the chinese beliefs.

August is also lean season if you can recall mga 5-8 years ago, August is a sale month or disposing old inventory month.

Because of this anticipation of low sesson, Internstional forwarders, banks, insurance charge lower rates.

So this was then tsken advantage by the younger chinese businessmen and non-chinese businessmen, kaya hayan ang nangyari. People who dont beleive in tradition anymore and pinagkakakitaan lahat ng pagkakataon. Napansin eto ng traditional business. No way, kami din kahit generstion sila ng may takot sa ghost month, syempre, money is money eh.

    -----

Think of it as Christian holy week, long before, most of us Christians knew it was taboo to travel in the )Holy Week. Pero tignan mo ngaun, highest rates if you book in Holy Week.

    ----

The same can also be observed in car sales. August has the best month for the greatest deals in cars, low interest, low down, big discounts. Coz p may kasabihan na dont spend something big during ghost month. But clearly, businesses are luring people to ignore this tradition

    ----

So that's why August is a fncked upp month! And everything that is happening today is a consequence of what we're experiencing. The weather, greed, herd mentslity, depression, anger expression in social media and because of that, people are pushed to the limits , then accidents happen

puede. they do it all the time.
the problem is, the president (any president) may have a squad of "letter readers" to screen them letters. what reaches the president's eyes may already have been screened, and your letter might not be among the letters that the president reads.
but, write away, sir! who knows...

Yes even on a Sunday. I noticed this because I can no longer get 9 km/L on city driving on weekends. Laging 7, swerte na mag 8. Last year kaya pa, with the same car and same route.

Tapos ngaun pa apply mga turbo petrol engines. What a waste of engine power, all those breakthroughs down the drain in Philippine setting

Relentless na ang buying ng transpo ngsun, in BGC while just strolling and stoping for.awhile for the view, a motorcycle will stop in front of you, and say Grab? Kahit hindi naman sila member ng grabcar.

People are enterprising on the wrong business. Tsk tsk

Last friday I went on leave may inasikaso lang ako. From marikina to QC to makati kaliwa't kanan ang binubungkal na kalsada. Baket sa tag ulan pa? And baket kahit isang construction worker wala. Naka leave din sila? On a friday afternoon! Sana kung gagawin nila double time. Grabe trapik sa bonny serrano nun.
