Fastfood chains are popular eating destinations. Falling in line and waiting patiently for your turn is something given. Politely reminding people in front that there is a long queue is also a good trait.

Why do you think maraming nababaril during a traffic altercation? If we learn to be patient and courteous to one another I think our world will be a better place to live in.

You start teaching courtesy to your children at a young age so pag tanda mo at nabastos ka, iisa lang ang masasabi mo, "buti nalang ang anak ko di ko tinuruan ng ganyan".
Those two were not by any stretch of the imagination old or handicapped (except perhaps, intellectually). They were pretty much aware they were holding up the line but chose to take their time putting up a show. Obviously if it were an old person, I would have reacted differently.

I didn't raise my voice nor threatened them. I just offered my advice. What jolted them was the unanimous agreement of all the people waiting behind them. You should have seen the way they were stared at, especially by an old lady waiting in line.

And I certainly wished my kids were with me then. At least they would have seen first hand how people would react if they behave so inconsiderately.

Meron ganun eh, bilis bilis kunin order mo but intay ka ng 20-30 minutes bago dumating food mo then kakainin mo lang ng 20 mins then bill mo another 20 minutes. tsk.

When a counter becomes vacant, the next one in line will be serviced. This way, kung may mabagal umorder, walang maabala (unless of course, maraming mabagal umorder causing all counters to be bogged down).

KFC = slowest "fast" food ever, bar none! I've had numerous experiences since I was still in grade school. Sobrang bagal gumalaw ng staff, tatanga tanga pa.

Kahit minsan ikaw nalang naka-pila, mabagal parin.

Kahit saang branch, palpak, goes to show how unmotivated they are as compared to other fast food brands.

I fully agree with what you've said.
Once you're at the counter, you've every right to stay there until you're done conducting your business.

That is why I want the fastfoods to adopt the single-line queueing system. 1 line. Many counters. Para kung turn mo na, at gusto mong mag ubos ng oras sa counter, the person behind you will still get serviced when another counter becomes available.

Minsan kasi bad trip talaga --- you enter the fastfood joint. You see three lines... You pick one line. Then you notice that the two lines next to you are moving fast! In fact, the person at the far end of the line next to you is now at the counter, while you just moved forward twice. Then you notice that the person at the counter on your line is taking a lot of time to order. If you move to another line, lugi ka! Pipila ka na naman ng matagal. Malay mo yung nilipatan mong line meron ding mabagal umorder.

What I was reacting to that was rude was the people who mentioned the word "tatanga tanga". I wasn't directing my criticism at you specifically but I'm speaking of the discourteous behavior that was elicited by your remark. Certainly the remark wasn't genuinely good intended as it sounded to me as a sarcasm towards the two nuisance customers. Though well deserved, it is not the correct response in situations like these.

Being called stupid is rude especially for a stranger who doesn't know your background. What I'm trying to point out is that if we act in a graceful and courteous manner sans the sarcasm and angst in life then we live less stressful and maybe less dangerous lives.

let's just accept the fact that there are people who really don't give a damn of what others may think or may feel. it's up to you if you want them to let them know what you feel. ehehe
