ang problem kasi sa pinas basta motel na associate na agad ***, unlike sa us motels are really used for motorists who just need a few hours of sleep before driving again. ilang beses nako nasayangan sa stay sa mga hotels when joining races out of towns since i really spend the time sleeping in them for about 5-6hours then checkout na agad
i wish there were more gohotels or sogo in provinces

*Cathy, sorry but I tried to get pictures of the room but my camera phone really can't handle the darkness of the room hehe. Btw, iyong nakikita mong mga pinopost dito hindi ganun iyong mga rooms nila. Probably because they're not Victoria Court. Ang pinuntahan ko lang ay Orchid, it's not at par with the pictures posted here.
*all, their rooms are livable. To those who haven't been inside it's just an ordinary room. Pag akyat ninyo once you open the door, may TV sa right side, and on the left may bed sa gilid kasya 2 tao. In front of the bed mayrong table for eating food. From the bed, walk mga 7-8 steps nandun iyong aircon and on the right of the aircon is a make up table. Sa side nandun naman iyong toilet and bath. They have heated water in their shower and lavatory. What makes it non-ordinary to me is the bed because it's being surrounded by mirrors. A big mirorr on top of the headboard, mirror on the side and mirror on top of the bed.
Tried their pansit canton and it's good.
Safety level is good. For me, if you're going to use it for purposes like sleeping (e.g. stranded due to heavy rains, nightshift sched and your sleeping environment at home is not ideal for sleeping because of construction etc..), it's fine.
If you're going to check in alone, just tell them that you need a place to sleep and magdedeposit ka ng money. Iyon naman ang importante sa kanila. Sometimes (depending on the bell boy that you're going to talk to, they will bring out the suicide issue. Just tell them your side and they will just have you deposit some downpayment.
Cons of staying there - if you're a non-smoker like me and whose sensitive to smoke. There's a big chance that you won't like the smell of their rooms; it smelled cigarette smoke.
Interesting thread—really important to consider the broader impact of the National ID Law beyond...
