naisip ko lang kung ano kaya iniisip ng average russian na if there were about 190,000 soldiers amassing along the intertwining borders of belarus, russia, and ukraine last february - where do they think all those soldiers have gone? hindi kaya sila nagtataka bakit kailangan pa mag draft ng additional 300,000 (daw) military men if putin says things are going to plan.

    Indeed, cannon fodder. Kawawa .....

On the ground, evidence of those Russian losses has manifested in thousands of images of jubilant UAF soldiers crawling over expensive Russian kit and chortling over the windfall. A video traced to the north Kharkiv sector, made public over the weekend, showed fighters from a mechanized infantry unit poking around inside a rare and apparently intact Russian 1L261 radar vehicle. The fighter says the high tech weapon will be “much appreciated” by the Ukrainian military. He then grabs a collapsible fishing kit, probably left behind by a retreating Russian crew member, as a personal “bonus”.

Oryx, a Netherlands-based military data watch group tracking combat losses in the Ukraine war, said that the volume of Russian vehicles damaged, destroyed and captured over the weekend was close to unprecedented for the entire war.

Those numbers, moreover, may well be low-balls. Estimates by independent analyst groups like Oryx are based solely on losses fully confirmed in open source materials, and are almost certainly lower than reality. Ukraine’s Defense Ministry currently calculates that the RF has lost 1,361 major weapons systems since the beginning of September to all causes – more than double estimates made by independent agencies.

Images from the field seem to confirm UAF claims of wholesale abandonment of an army’s worth of military equipment by Russian troops fleeing the Kharkiv sector. A video published by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense on September 11 shows UAF infantryman walking along a road littered with top-line Russian T-80 tanks and MTLB armored personnel carriers. “F*ck there is enough tanks for everyone. What a bonus!” a soldier says. “Look, ammo! Take the ammo!”

    they probably defected or deserted.

in the early days of world war 2,
russia had a not-intentional resource that no other country had.
    "cannon fodder."
their equipment may have been minimal to absent, but they had lots of warm bodies.
legend had it, that when a russian soldier falls, the one behind him grabs his rifle and continues on the fight.

officers were instructed to shoot soldiers who ran.

    defected, deserted, or dead.

you're right about the "cannon fodder" bit. in the 1st soviet- finnish war (aka the winter war) of 1939 that's exactly what happened. the fins actually killed so many soviets that the soldiers of helsinki allegedly got physically and mentally sick of butchering so many hapless communist conscripts. i think the term for this physical and mental manifestation of war stress related illness used back then was "shell shock" - w/c is now known colloquially as "ptsd"

Dude whatever you read coming from Moscow, its not happening on the ground. Whatever you hear from Putin, the truth is Russia is the invader, there are no Nazis in Kyiv, and the Russian Army is still the 2nd best army in Ukraine.

dude yatta THE GHOST OF KIEV is REAL

yun hindi naniniwala sa NATO expansion will have to realize that the GHOST OF KIEV is FAKE NEWS

i believe that a MULTI-POLAR world is better for humanity

putin serving as a check and balance to US hegemony is better than US as a mother of DEMOCRACY DICTATING terms to the world

Mas maganda lang sana pangarapin na yung Multi-polar world eh yung matino din sana kumukontra kahit papaano.

I hope Germany can be that country. But China and Russia cannot be those country because they have more sinister tendencies and biases imho.

di nako masyado nagpost sa topic na ito

    this is what's happening:

the goal of the US is to drive russia out of ukraine

it's not only for ukraine but for the credibility and standing of the US on the world stage

the US is trying to preserve its #1 position in the world where everyone respects and fears them

if russia is allowed to annex those eastern parts of ukraine, the US will lose credibility

that's why walang peace talks -- hindi pwede sa US ang compromise -- kailangan mapalayas ang russia period

ang russia naman pag nabawi ng ukraine ang mga eastern territories... lalo pag nabawi pati crimea... putin is done... russia is done

putin will be deposed (or worse) and russia could be broken up

so para kay putin he can't lose this war (para sa kanya this war has become fight for his and russia's survival)

para sa US this war is about maintaining fear and respect (pag nagtagumpay ang russia sa pagsakop sa territoryo ng ukraine mawawalan ng takot at respeto ang buong mundo sa US)

He could have done that without invading a country. Ukraine doesn't want to be part of Russia. Its that simple. Why complicate things with ridiculous claims. This thread is turning into the rabbit hole NWO thread.

Ano basis nito? They are a proud nation and hindi naman diverse yan politically. They may not win the war pero labo naman na madivide pa yan. Mas malaki pa chance na tumibay sila and transform into a better nation but still a Russian nation. Layo naman ng Russia as a country vis a vis USSR.

after russia is driven out of ukraine putin won't survive politically

he'll be deposed (or worse than that)

magkakaroon ng power vacuum sa russia and factions inside russia will be fighting for the throne

    that's one thing

another thing is the US and China will see a weakened russia and will want russia's natural resources

the US will install a puppet pero di papayag ang china

so the US and china will go to war

Finnish PM asked what's the way out of the conflict

"way out of the conflict is russia to leave ukraine"

    https://twitter.com/RikhardHusu/stat...08226709590017

this is the stance of the US/NATO/Western world

the goal is to defeat russia period

kaya for me it's pointless to follow daily news from the battlefield -- ukraine forces winning here and there, russian forces winning here and there

alam na natin ang magiging resulta -- matatalo ang russia

the west will keep arming ukraine until russia is defeated

then the west will focus on china
