Di pa bumabalik mga maids namin from the holiday vacation nila sa province So malamang di na babalik talaga.
Pinagbigyan pa naman namin na makasama mga mahal sa buhay nila ngayong Christmas at New Year.
Kaya if ever, can you guys recommend a tried and tested household help agency? We normally go thru the referral type(by friends and relatives) on hiring helpers, but worse case, we'll try the agencies para mas mabilis. This is the first time we'll go thru an agency if ever.
Also, if you have any thoughts/ideas/violent reactions on using household agencies in hiring helpers, please post away as well.
Thanks & Happy New Year to all!

Question bro: are you sure that she won't come back? I mean it's only the 2nd of January and unofficially, a lot of people on holiday would be out from work until the 6th. What I'm saying is that don't make any decisions just yet. Give her until the end of the week and try to call her up or her family. At least you can say that you did give her a chance.
Our "kasambahay" has been with us for 12 years, hindi naman kami iniwan. Thing is, bumabalik lagi.Last edited by nicolodeon; January 2nd, 2008 at 01:46 PM.

Kami rin, she left end of November. but we decided na ‘wag na kumuha dahil kaya namang pagtulung-tulungan ang gawaing bahay.

We are still hoping na babalik sila. Before new year dapat ang balik.
So backup plan pa lang as of now yong paghahanap ng agency or referrals, hirap kasi working kami pareho ni misis at walang mag-aalaga sa mga bata. Though madami din kasi horror stories with regards to agencies, plus the stress of training & building trust sa new 'kasambahay', kaya hopefully nga, na-delay lang talaga.

Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
