    Depends on the case also. For some its to develop or raise the road (but baka maafect ang lot mo if it isnt raised also). For others, its really to fix the drainage systems (box culvert maybe?), especially if the development in the area has increased to have many buildings and establishments, and ensure its also clean down the line. In some cases, its really just a matter of cleaning and desilting the waterways and drainages.

    The place is already flooded 1ft to knee high already without raising the road yet. Pano pa kaya if taasan ang daan. But like I've posted, tinambakan ko na property to the point na kahit taasan pa nila ang road, mas mataas pa rin property.

    ^ Ok sana, kaso less than a foot nga ayaw pa minsan ibigay ng mga pinoy para sa daan mismo. Canal pa kaya. Kakainis nga. Road namin na ginagawa ngayon may section na hindi kasya 2 cars. Pasaway diba.

    *boybi: make sue to think about this very well. Planning way way ahead is the solution to a problem like flooding in developing areas. Kung may connection ka sa City Eng. Dept., gamitin mo to get an some more info regarding future plans in you area. Ganun din sa zoning dept ng city hall. Raise concerns ASAP.

    Problema kasi sa city planning, pag iba na ang nakaupong mayor, iba na rin ang plano.

    Ganito nalang, would you rent a stall in a known flood prone area? How many days lang ba nagbabaha actually? 10-20 days a year?

    I definitely won't rent. Lalo na at the current situation that the weather seems to be worsening as the years go by.

    Usually we elevate the store if we know the area is flood prone. Just need to ask local residents how high is the flood in the particular area.
