Looks awfully like Ken Watanabe of the Last Samurai fame.

Nice. Like the 2 previous films, I'd expect to be very entertained with this last film of the series.

Googling 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Ken Watanabe' didn't bring up hits. But 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Chow Yun Fat' did. Here's something from Movieweb.com:

According to Variety, Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer have enlisted Chow Yun-fat for Pirates of the Caribbean 3.

Chow will play Capt. Sao Feng, a notorious pirate who plays a major role in the second sequel to 2003's Disney blockbuster.

It is the Hong Kong native's first English-language role since Bulletproof Monk in 2003.

A better question would be:

In the first pic, Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) is between Capt. Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and Capt. Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush). Since both are presumed dead (Barbossa by Sparrow in 1 and Sparrow by Kraken in 2), is Elizabeth dead/going to die also in 3?

Nope.
-Barbossa is alive at the end of the Dead man's chest.
-Bitin yung ending nung 2 so baka di naman namatay si Jack dun sa Kraken; or they will bring Jack back from the dead just like Barbossa on Dead man's chest.
