well 25 years ago when all we had was pldt it was more like 5% had phones (or had access to one) of which half were waiting for a dial tone, 10% were waiting for a connection and 85% don't even know what a phone looks like.

Yes. Squatters and poor people in the province.

Kahapon sa Eat Bulaga yung nanalo sabi 4k upa nila. I think squatter's area yun. Kwarto lang yung bahay. They do everything on the floor (sleep and eat) Yung toilet nila shared. Yun nga lang mag share sa family member minsan nakakainis. What more with hundreds of strangers.

How about tablets... I'm sure we have more toilets than tablets!

And did they count the arinola?

    Back to the topic...

A single person may have a studio apartment with 1 toilet and 2-3 phones!

ok naman ang comfort room ng condo namin. walang tulo.. hiwalay bath from toilet from sink. may tubig.
just don't attempt to sleep in it, or dine in it.

Read the reply of jut. It's about having zero toilet in a household.

Puwedeng iyong reserba ay nasa ibabaw/itaas,- tapos may hinihila kang kurdon para mag-flush....

I remember that one manner to judge the cleanliness of a place, or a house for that matter,- is to check how their toilet is....

Alam namin ibig mong sabihin but siyempre sa condo, space is a premium. Kaya ganun.

Hindi ba dapat ang toilet bowl in between the sink and shower

Yung shower ang nakadikit sa wall, yung sink naman nasa side ng door.

    Like this

our home toilet bowl is at the dulo, past the sink and the shower. all three have their own "dikit sa wall".
iba-iba po ang arrangements, depende sa ano ang available area, and what the designer envisioned.
the arrangement of the bath, sink and toilet, are not prescribed in the rulebook, po.

and that's a nice bathroom in the picture. in the smaller ones i used, "the soaping part is over, if one drops the soap bar to the floor".

I would suppose kasi with small bathrooms, that's the most practical arrangement since the sink and toilet are more often used than the bath.

ideally ang tama yung makakastretch yung dalawa hita para comfortable... no ngalay.....

nabanggit na din mga architect..... inaaccount ba yung functionality/comfort or puro aesthetic lang....

but i still prefer a bathroom where three users can all do their thing (bathe, wash, en-throne) at the same time, in relative privacy.
    like our home bathroom!
    yey! thanks, dad!
