"G" also stands for Guia Gomez, ang may-ari ng G-Liner. No wonder magaspang ang ugali ng mga bus drivers nito, mana sa amo nilang kabit.siguro kaya G-liner kasi G is for ga-g0.hehehe...

Philippine roads are very unpredictable such that they literally beckon heads that can turn 360 degrees. To drive safely, you will have to look in all directions, never to be caught off-guard, because a barbaric jeepney driver might just cut you, or you might see a bus bully its way through the traffic jam. What's worse, it is possible to witness races between two big trucks, one of which accounting to a tragedy somewhere in C5.
But behind all these savage aggressiveness is very good potential. I have to admit that these red-licensed drivers are really good. This reason alone has made me wonder almost everyday what it is to have one of our countrymen in the best racing tournaments in the world. By no doubt, we are the best in the ASEAN, but because of government differences, a straight country like Malaysia was able to sponsor a national to F1, despite being barely competent. Alex Yoong may no longer be racing there anymore, but he's got his chance to do so, even for just a short time. I have absolutely no doubt that a well trained, generously sponsored Filipino driver can do much better.
Now, do you see the worst graft and corruption has ever gone?
Jeepney Driver in an F1 car? mmm...
I'm already used to all the mayhem and rokus here that I usually keep my cool. Its just a waste of energy and gas, its useless agruing with these people...
One time, nasa hs pa ako, We accidentally bumped a City Bus (gamit namin Astro AUV na pawis steering) at Roxas cor.
Di ko alam kung matatawa ako or matatakot. a Cave man in a modern world.Originally Posted by chua_riwap

May nagka-counter flow sa major road, iyung isang side ng gulong nasa gutter ng center island tapos iyung kabilang gulong nasa kalsada and driving on a normal speed.
Obviously, they don't belong to best driver category, but rather psychotic.
This is Hilarious!!!:bwahaha:One time, nasa hs pa ako, We accidentally bumped a City Bus (gamit namin Astro AUV na pawis steering) at Roxas cor. we did a study rin in cross-cultural communications about driving styles... pinoys are ONE of the BEST and SCARIEST but not the best and scariest... meet brazilians, eastern europeans, and well russians...
sa russia and eastern europe nakakatakot!
Korekek ka dyan. 'Been there a couple of times. Although they stpop at traffic signals, it's a free-for-all when it turns green. Taxi drivers just turn left or right with impunity. Walang pakialam. Not once did I see a taxi driver using his side mirrors. Horns, madalas just to warn someone that his end is coming if he does not get his fanny out of the way.Originally Posted by chieffy
Driving also involves obeying the rules, not merely "skill" behind the wheel. After seeing 2 Pinay drivers severely t-bone cars at the same 4-way stop during the same day (1 morning, 1 afternoon), because they did a "California stop" instead of a full stop, I have to say no. I also have to add a third (Oriental, possibly Pinay) who forgot to stop altogether. Luckily I and another driver stopped in time. Also that same day.
I just have to shake my head. Anyone can be reckless and interpret it as skill. I've done it before. I was young and stupid when I was single. But, at least I did mine at places where the only one who could get killed is myself.
you guys should see how africans drive! para kang naunuod ng suspense/horror which will keep you to the edge of your seat whether pasahero ka o driver. kahit sinong santo, matutuyuan sa mga ito pag nakasabay mo sa kalye. they swerve, turn, and back up with no consideration for other drivers whenever they feel like it, manuevers in odd places, five seconds after the light changes to red they still go for it, they stick out their arms and hands to point at you and make hand gestures as if provoking you to a fight (this is normal here in Cote d' Ivoire pero kung sa pinas to, :gun: inabot ng mga ito!), and to top it all kahit sila pa mali sila pa galit!
