Paano na si Kags?

I used to spent most of my time diyan sa PEX mostly sa UAAP Thread and naalala ko yung mga kantiyawan at alaskahan between Ateneo and La Salle pexers doon.
Hopefully meron archive ng threads sa pex. Masaya magbasa ng reactions and memories of the people from the past about the most trivial historical stuff in ph. Like the discussions and threads when yamashita tigers treasure suddenly won best picture for 2001 mmff, or the collective disgust that everyone had during the 2008 cebu canister scandal.
Dyan din ako tambay noon nung naghahanap ako ng IT companies na magandang applyan nung nagstart ako sa IT industry.
PinoyExchange is closing down >> YugaTech | Philippines Tech News & Reviews
Forum pages are a endangered species...
After more than two decades (24 years to be exact), PinoyExchange is finally closing down. The online forum is one of the first and oldest running website in the Philippines, alongside the likes of Yehey, ABS-CBN’s PinoyCentral, and Tsinoy.com.
More commonly called PEx, is home to many Filipinos in the early days of the Internet in the Philippines. PEx was one of the biggest, if not the biggest, websites in the country. It was the golden age of UGC (user-generated content).
The announcement to close the forum was made early today in this short statement on their website.

I wonder if pex converted their forum to be Tapatalk friendly, will they have more users?
Come to think of it, using the tsikot app for android, I'm not seeing any ads. How is tsikot making money from their app?
Tapos wala na rin tatangal ng ban status kaya behave na tayo. [emoji28]

PinoyExchange (PEX) is the OG Pinoy Forum.
Many have tried but none had succeeded.
PinoyCentral for one tried to usurp PEx's throne but failed.
The rise of social media spelt doom for them, and forums such as Tsikot.
When I was trying to research on motorcycles (scooters), I tried looking for bike forums.
Yung Motorcycle Philippines buhay pa naman pero quite stagnant na.
When I bought my Ninja 250SL circa 2019 medyo active pa sila.
I think yung PinoyDVD eh buhay pa rin yata pero di na rin ganoon ka-active.
PinoyDVD is now mostly a "sellers forum". I used to browse it, ogling at members setups, though occasionally buying pre-loved items at "adik" prices.
TipidPC and its offshoot TipidCP was supposed to be for members who were merely trading parts/gear on the side or sellers who did not have a physical store or who would bring in rare items not found in the local stores. Now its mostly populated by brick and mortar shops.
