The mere fact we still have jeepneys plying around our roads says it all to the world. We lack political will to do the right things. Imagine those old Isuzu/Mitsubishi diesels will kill a tree faster than you could say Clean Air Act... And they are actually legit public transportation??? Isn't supposed to be public transportation should be SAFE? Jeepneys are like running caskets for their passengers...

This kuliglig is just like that...

When the government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.
    -Thomas Jefferson

apparently, he forgot the part when the government fears the votes...

but in a libertarian sense, tama lang talaga na walang privilege to vote ang mga non tax payers...
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

political will is having balls. just check out kung sino advisers ng mga pulitiko ngaun, mga baklang organization that does P.R. and you'll know why our society is going down the drain.

we live in a time where politics is showbiz politics. you say one thing today that you won't do tomorrow, and you get away with it. di'ba ganyan ang showbiz, flip-flopping scandal controversy making

i'm just waiting for the adventurist military or highly principled true men to call it quits and do something drastic.

    ----------

ngaun na-realize ko kumbakit nagkaroon ng tyranny and martial law noon 1970's not only in the Phils. but it seem to have happened in almost every developing country. bec. the signs of the times called it!

noon 60's pala eh puros naging happy go lucky mga tao, puro gay rights movements, weak policies etc. remember that volkswagen combi na puros vector art. sobrang anarchy noon at anti-government noon at pakabig.

i'm thinking history will repeat itself soon
