persied meteor shower

fyi lang for people who's into astronomy.

The peak of persied meteor showers will be on aug. 12 around 4:00 AM, best time to view it daw, although meron na ngayon not as much lang.

What do you mean by persied?

I think he means Perseid. But the same site that spells it that way has a reference to it using Persied:

Why is it called Perseids?
The radiant point, or the area in which the meteors will appear to be radiating from is in the constellation Perseus. You will see meteor streaks, and possibly even fireballs coming from other directions. But if you can keep the corner of your eye on perseus, you will probably see more.

Sa Thursday morning lalabas yan!! around 5-6am..for 15 mins lang daw. Kaya labas ka ng maaga!

it's visible late july up to august, but yung peak niya aug 12,13, pinaka marami, although I tried this morning wala akong nakita, kasi cloudy and nasa city ako (light pollution), and hindi ako sure kung saan part ng sky hahanapin :D
northeast daw yata hindi east, near the horizon yata, nagtatanong pa ako

Mahirap nga sumipat dito nyan. May naka-block na building on my north-eastern side.

naalala ko tuloy dun sa pulag, ang lamig lamig, nakalabas lang ulo ko sa tent para mag-star gazing. nakakita ako ng mga meteor. ang saya saya!
