re the discussion on the yellow cap coke. I am surprised that our regular coke uses sugar and not high fructose corn syrup like in the US. That is supposed to be the difference between kosher (yellow cap) and regular coke. I guess our coke is as good as Mexican coke
Yellow cap
Red cap same ingredients as yellow but with sucralose

Mountain Dew din favorite sopdrink ko. One Big Gulp sa 7-11 is parang cup of coffee na din ata in terms of caffeine.
Regular Coke 2nd choice.
Sucralose eh yung nasa Splenda. Maybe that's the after taste na nasa red cap na wala sa yellow cap. May after taste kasi Splenda.

I really don't like the taste ng Coke Zero, pero nung nagpunta ako sa uncle ko sa California, yan lang available since diabetic siya. And I kinda liked it. Medyo iba rin yata timpla ng Coke Zero nila doon as compared to what's locally available.
Jollibee not as much. May naiwan pa ring syrupy taste even with as much ice. Ang mas preferred ko yun Big Gulp ng 711 since not too adulterated ang timpla nila. Then depende na sa iyo how much ice ang ihahalo mo. I put just enough para medyo brain freeze pa rin as you gulp down the drink as I usually don't use straw lalo na pag I really want to cool down.
I can put as much ice na hindi tumatabang unlike dun sa iba pwede mo na lang palamigin sa chiller since lalo lang tatabang if you add ice. Isa pa bottled siya, as in glass bottle, so pwedeng konting ice na lang if you have initially chilled it already.
actually,
local jabetics do not have much of a choice, beverage-wise.
some years ago, one would find colas, mountain jew, sprite, orange and other drinks, all sugar-free.
alas, these have but gone. sugar-free coke and pepsi na lang...
You can buy tonic or soda water and mix it with all-natural juice like what Whistl3r mentioned. No sugar yung mga binebenta tonic or soda water.
I have tonic and soda water at home. I use it primarily to mix it vodka or gin plus add apple or lemon to taste.

the best selling ng pepsi product dito pinas eh mug rootbeer.
ako ang dahilan bakit inayos nila ingredietns. Nung una pure sugar yan tapos nagkuripot bigla High Fructose Corn Syrup.
tsikoteer ang panglasa ko pwedeng-pwede sa blind taste I will eat you all alvie.
