dropping such statement even if taken of context is a big stupidity %#$$#*

ive done charity works and mingled with the poor, i could honestly say that doing such deed uplift my spirit and i feel very enlighten, that feeling is what money cant buy.

Most western people are quite independent and outgoing since they grew up in an environment wherein crime is rare, the surroundings are properly monitored & supervised and the authorities are responsive and professional. Here in the Philippines, everybody is left to fend for themselves and the authorities will only get involved after something bad has already occurred.

I have the same problems with my girl friend. She's European and likes to go off by herself. I'm sometimes scared something like this might happen to her.

Wag nyong masyadong pansinin yang si Sir Raulo Gonzalez. (Ooops, sorry Raul lang pala). I heard his comments on Saksi last night, talagang iresponsable

Hehehe

awa ako kay julia campbell, true westerners are prone liberated in terms of freedom, however just like in movies when they are truly down the first person to into into is their family, westerners supports their children with what they want, julia decides to work as a social welfare volunteer, her family agrees and didnt even bear so much grudges on the death of their daughter, because they are assured that the will of their daughter was done.

ot na: but if you look within them the pain is supress and covered with a smile... these is one reason why depression and suicide is prevalent in us...

Ha-ha!

Ano yan eh......pa-impress. Sa office namin, laging clean desk policy, pag marami papel mo sa mesa, labas mo nun, parang laging busy. Lagi kang may AIDS (As If Doing Something).

R.I.P. Ms. Julia Campbell, please forgive our nitwit of a justice secretary who consistently issues one idiotic statement after another.

Maybe he's Gen. Patton in an earlier life. He's fiery, including his mouth. When he remarked about comtemplating to lead the 3rd Army to push the Soviets out of Berlin, Ike had him relieved.

GMA, kung hindi mo man kayang i-relieve si Gonzales, castigating him in front of the media might cool him down.

This country needs more people like Julia, and less of Raul's....

    haaaay

paalam at rest in peace julia

IMO, raul gonzales lost his marbles years ago. He always has the FMD - foot-in-mouth disease. While I do respect his seat as justice secretary, I don't respect his appoinment and how he carries that seat.

    However.....

I've had the pleasure to meet and/or work with a number of foreign volunteers e.g. Peace Corps, Mercy Corps, CRS, World Vision, etc. I know for a fact that all foreignt NGOs have a strict security plan that their volunteers and in-country staff that needs to be followed, in whatever country that they choose to visit and do volunteer work for or to be posted. One of the policies in their security plan is not to travel alone in remote places or places that have high "security risk" ratings/warnings. I'm not blaming Ms. Campbell for what happened to her. Far from it. All I'm saying here is that sometimes the sense of adventure when visiting a foreign land gets to us and it sometimes lands us into a potentially dangerous situation. Hey, look at me? I was almost dragged under a moving car when car-riding people snatched my camera bag right out of my shoulder - and to think that I was not traveling alone at that time but yes, we were at a less than ideal place.

I agree... an idiot like that does not deserve any respect.
