Self study ka na lang pare. Meron ako dating libro pinahiram ko lng sa classmate ko natuto na. Luma na yung book sa tatay ko pa. If you need it, I can have it photocopied when I get it from the province.

Isa sa mga nakasulat don: "If the blind can play, so can you."

Of course don't expect to read notes immediately. Chords lang muna... Good luck!

hanap ka ng Chord chart(?) (yung katulad sa Jingles mag, meron pa ba nun)

tapos hanap ka ng madaling kanta na alam mo kantahin at madali/konti ang chords

with the Chord chart as your guide, tugtugin mo sa gitara yung napili mong kanta, araw-araw.

tapos kapag sanay ka na maglipat ng chords at medyo smooth na ang pag play mo ng song na napili mo, hanap ka naman ng medyo mahirap na kanta, yun naman praktisin mo.

It takes a lot of practice Pre, and alot of kalyo sa fingertips mo.

I remember, the first song that I learned to play in the guitar is More (More than the greatest love the world has known... hehehe) this was in Grade 6.

a good 1st song: leaving on a jet plane or any 3 chord song. that was my 1st song.

halos lahat ng gitarista alam tong kantang to: more than words. :D

playing guitar can be very hard at the start. just like anything else.. so wag ka mafrustrate dahil di mo makuha yung song or ang bagal ng kamay mo when switching chords. it takes time and practice. yung ibang friends ko kasi tumigil na kasi ang hirap daw.

I suggest you ask someone you know, dyan sa tabi-tabi, na you want to learn how to play guitar. Basics, lang. How fret marker works, tuning, bar chords, open chords, proper fingering, etc.

Learn easy songs first. The one you can sing while playing. Then progress on.

Good luck! It's fun and addictive.

personal preference na lang yan. the reason why i chose guitar is i like rock music. i want to play the stuff that i listen to. e.g. guns n' roses, metallica, ac/dc, etc.

yung guitar, pwede mo dalin kahit saan. especially kung acoustic guitar. kung electric, maghahanap ka pa ng amp.

kung piano, di mo pwede dalin yung piano kahit saan. kung sa bahay, di pwede yung malaking piano kung wala kang lugar . pwede din yung keyboards pero masmaganda daw kung sa piano magstart. yung maganda sa piano, matututo ka ng notes. kung sa guitar, pwede tabs na lang pag-aralan mo. like me, wala akong alam sa notes. hehehe. you don't have to tune the piano. basta ginagamit mo lang.

pero masmaganda pa rin if you can learn both.

ako nga kaya ko tugtugin guitar, bass and drums. gusto ko magpiano din. hehehe
