Actually, it is by Practice that FTP or the downloading protocol is disable on the Corporate Firewall for obvious reason, security and resources conservation.
You can navigate the site and see if you can download using the much common HTTP protocol. This is always open otherwise you cannot browse the internet.

pero di naman sa office si odell eh. aayusin mo lang settings mo sa firewall to gain access sa shareaza. i think proxy server settings within the shareaza program ang gagalawin mo or sa mother firewall program lang. pero wag na wag mo idisable firewall mo lalo na't broadband connection ka. mahirap na at baka ma-hack ka pa.

Kasi pag sinabing behind firewall, there is another box that act as firewall between your PC and the untrusted Network i.e. Internet.
Exactly what is the error when downloading? I check Shareaza site and there is an HTTP download, this is supposedly not restricted even with your personal Firewall.

Hmmm.. open ports si odell! Masubukan nga magprobe kung anong xxx files ang laman ng pc nya.
Pagka uncheck mo ng firewall sa connection properties, kelangan mo re-connect yung DSL mo.
