would anyone know what are the legal requirements and the steps or procedures in adopting a child?

are there lawyers or family code experts in the house? or does anybody know of a site that extensively covers adoption? pa share naman po...

yeah pano nga ba? i have a stepson and i want to adopt him so he can start using my family name and be a legitimate child.

i txted my lawyer who is also my brother. here's his reply:

it's a long process. you need to file a petition for adoption sa court then from there hearings will be scheduled............

bat kailang pa ng court hearing? for what?
