Need ideas. The more, the better. Gusto ko pasyal anak ko for that father and son moment. I already have a few places in my mind pero baka may mas magandang idea na lumitaw dito.![]()

Teach him on some sports that he is very interested into, not on what you are interested. Give him freedom to choose on his favorite sport and improve him on that even though if you cannot.
Go out on some open space, teach him how to fly a kite! :superman:
1. Avilon Zoo in Rizal
2. Manila Ocean Park
3. Tree Top Adventure, SBMA (do the Superman)
4. Zoobic Safari, SBMA
5. Jungle Trekking, Apaliin Trail (about 30 min.), SBMA
when i was 10 my dad took me to a sabungan. we bonded there, strangely enough. i enjoyed the chaos of the place and how my dad seemed to always tell me about what's going on. NOTE: my dad wasn't a cockfighting fan, he just wanted to tag along with HIS dad (my grand dad) and i was sorta taken, too, maybe for the heck of it (my dad was the bank daw, after we talked about it many years later when i was caring for him while he lay dying of cancer).
i'm not suggesting you take your kid to a cockfight, though. i'm suggesting you take him to a place where you can share a gritty experience together, with you as the father teaching him the ways of the world and how it's not always a shiny, clean, happy happy place.
like an isaw/barbeque stand, for example. i always enjoyed the times when my dad and i would sneak out from under my mom's nose and hit the isaw stand, with him telling me the various intricacies of isaw prep (whats dirty, whats not).
damn, i miss my dad.![]()
I took my son camping/fishing along Taal lake. Now he's hooked. Special moments ......
1.placing the bait on the hook.
2. reeling in the catch
3. cooking over firewood
He proudly tells his friend about the experience.
Very inexpensive trip, most expensive item is gas from Manila and back.
Camping fee is ~300 per tent.

Ask him what he wants to try out/see. Go from there.
Airport (my dad used to take me there because I like watching planes pass by.)
Military bases (airforce, naval, army) with my dad and uncles.
One of the best summer vacations I had was in Legazpi Naval base. Super ganda dun. My Godfather is a navy soldier.
Planes at Villamor airbase & Int'l Airport always fascinated me as a young kid.
pwede rin kayo mag-nature trip. If you're in Manila, there's UP Diliman where you can jog/bike/stroll (there's a bike lane there now). Cars are banned in The Oval on Sundays.
Don't let him be attracted with American fast food and other fat/uber sweet food. Magiging biik yun. High risk of cancer and heart diseases pa. Ok lang Italian like pizza, pasta and similar.
Marami din sports complex dito sa Manila. Few of the must-learn things in a kid's life are swimming, biking and tennis.

pwede na kaya magfiring to? hehehe 12 years old ako nung tinuruan ako nito sarap ng filing
Too young to be fed with such a serious sport - and accompanying responsibility.
