to summarize...
pro: more accurate. less dirt - no cleaning, no mousepads. lasts longer.
con: more expensive.
there you have it.
incidentally, i also use an optical mouse. kakapalit ko lang a month ago. i got the acrox(?) ata yung brand which costs around 750 pesos. hindi sya malikot and mas accurate talaga coz i also use it for some graphics work - kaya ko select ang 1 pixel height na line sa 1280 x 1024 resolution sa photoshop.

Beware of this brand: AU tech... both my laptop and desktop cannot identify the mouse
in some occasions... the system identify it as an unknown USB device... not sure kung ano talaga problema...pero usually after a few days na di ko na ginagamit....then pagka-try
oks na uli...until..dumating na naman sa point
na maging unknown device na uli sya...
Removing and re-installing the driver cannot even resolve my problem.

You can't go wrong with Logitech, although A4 is good the difference is in the buttons, Logitech's are softer and easier on the fingers, get the Logitech Internet Keyboard + Optical Mouse price around 1200, its great value for money.

the optical mouse will pay for itself rather quickly, especially if you'll be using it everyday.
odell,
mas nakakatakot yung pangalan ng mouse pad ko, "3M PMS" :bwahaha: ...
as in, "Precise Mousing Surface" what an unfortunate abbreviation for a product
