Am here at Villamor and its sad to read about this now. People from all walks of life are helping out and converging here. We were told early this morning that were operating until 12nn but they will advice if we will extend.

Its very heavy on the heart when you receive the people as they arrive and help them... Then the simple smile and heartfelt thank you one gets from them makes all the effort very much worth it.

It also helps that there are quite a good number of pretty volunteers.

Wait for further announcements though as they may move volunteer operations to another venue (camp aguinaldo?).

The big corporates are sending their employees so its a given that you have the Makati pretties.

But yeah, its really disheartening to have to stop. Observing the US military mobilize goods for transport and dang theyre so efficient.

Yup, iba talaga ang mobilization ng US military. Too bad medyo busy ang NAIA because of commecial air traffic, the C130's have to fall in line pa for take off and landing clearance. I think the Ospreys will be more useful as they can take-off and land vertically, or those Chinooks. When I arrived last Monday, I saw 3 C130's of the Japanese Air Self Defence Force being loaded up.
