    di ko lang maalala kung saan ko napanood kung "the correspondent or sa assignment" may na feature doon mga buhay ng Pinoy sa NZ,konti pa lang ang mga kababayan natin nandoon ,

    you need to have a contact sa nz embassy then pay then get interviewed outside the philippines then wait. ganyan ginawa ng friend ko. sa thailand sila na-interview na mag-asawa. waiting na sila.

    when i visited NZ three years ago. medyo ito ang napansin ko. in fact a NZlander told me that the population of sheep there is more than the population of humans.

    one thing i've noticed too. dami green pasture. kaya pag nag resign ka and pupunta ka sa NZ, sabihin mo sa resignation letter mo is "due to greener pastures..." very literal.... hehehehe.

    Population of NZ is 4 M while sheep is close to 20 M. Filipinos living in NZ are about 18,000 , mga 70 to 80% live in Auckland. All year round green ang grass dito except kung matindi ang summer medyo nagbrown ng konti mga few weeks lang. Hindi naman probinsyang probinsya ang dating dito, lahat ng major cities dito me mga CBD at me tall buildings din especially sa Auckland. Hindi rin naman tamad mga locals dito, di lang sila maasahan mag extend ng working hours pagdating ng weekend at mga holidays, meaning di sila kasing sipag ng mag pinoy dito na halos lahat nag dodouble job, laging nag oovertime, at gustong gusto pumasok ng holiday kasi 1.5x ang natatangap he he he. Minsan yung ibang pinoy kukuha ng annual leave which is about 3 weeks tapos sa side line pa sa ibang trabaho habang naka leave, doble nga naman sueldo. Kaya sa pagkakaalam ko, masipag lahat ang pinoy dito at higit sa lahat mabait at walang nangugulang. Me joke nga dito na magkakaroon na daw ng ahas dito dahil dumadami ng ang Pinoy he he he.
