Wow, that was a very long time ago! NU107.5 used to play new wave(80s Alternative as Yahoo categorized it) during its initial broadcast and in the early 90s. 89.1 DMZ used to play new wave music every Sunday then.

mrpink is right, nauna XB102 "The Station that Dares to be Different" ang motto nila nun.
"i send a message" ; i think mas sikat na kanta ito ng INXS.
gusto nyo share tayo ng mga New Wave music(like Colourfield, fun Boy three, and more) para malagyan din ng title yung mga unknown songs.

I just want to let everybody know that I've revived the legendary Manila New Wave radio station XB-102 with many of the original DJs doing BRAND NEW shows with classic 102 music:

    http://www.live365.com/stations/xb_102

Cool Carla and Mick Flame (Mickey the Clown) are back and soon the Morning Man will return after 18 years!

    E-mail requests to xb102music*yahoo.com.

    Thanks!

Sometimes I DJ on there. You might recognize my name from http://www.allmusic.com. Most of the New Wave biographies and reviews -- at least the Manila-centric ones -- were written by me, from the Lotus Eaters to Fra Lippo Lippi to the Dawn. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the station that dares to be different. We do take requests & dedications at xb102music*yahoo.com. By the way, XB was the first New Wave radio station in Manila followed by BM-105 in 1985 for a short period of time. Shortly after XB's demise on June 9, 1987, NU-107 was born in December of that year and then BM switched back to New Wave.

I have my own record label, Sutton Records:

    http://www.wxb102forever.com/sutton.html

Prettier Than Pink is on it (asawa ko si Lei).

    Here's the WXB tribute site:

    http://www.wxb102forever.com

I also released the U.S. debut of my friend Peter Coyle of the Lotus Eaters a few years ago called "Reach for the Sun."

Long live New Wave!!! Our genre will never die!
