Gals, (and guys for your GF/wife, female companion),
There's a new MO for snatchers in fast food chains and restaurants.
This happened to my wife's colleague.
Woman, alone, sitting in Jollibee Greenbelt, waiting for her companions who are ordering, places her bag on the table where she can see it.
Some guy points down underneath the woman's seat/table. "Miss, is that your credit card?"
Woman sees the credit card. Bends down to pick it up, momentarily losing sight and touch of her handbag. She gets up and examines the card to find that it is not hers.
The guy is gone. Bag is gone too, along with cash, credit cards and two mobile phones. Theft was reported, cards were cancelled, but they have been used already...
So, never let go of your bag, even for a second, especially in crowded areas. Put it on your lap.
hmmm..similar 'to sa mga bus naman..good guy sitting during rush hours..me mama` nakatayo nasilip na pala cellphone o kahit 20 peso bill nakasiksik sa shirt pocket ng good guy..'sir excuse lang ho nahulog iyong ticket ko sa likuran nyo..good guy looks behid his back..presto..dukot na laman ng bulsa nya..
marami silang salot sa bus about 3 or 4 sabay-sabay lulundag pababa..
hey.. thanks for the advice... buti na lang got used to not letting go my bag kahit saan ako pumunta.. maski nakaupo ako, nasa lap ko parati and hawak ko pa rin cya....
Hmm..teka hindi ba Urban Legend yan?? Meron din isa pang version yan eh..
Maglalaglag ng susi ang thief para madistract ka then ikaw naman mapapalingon sa nalaglag na susi, then ang kasama ng thief ang kukuha ng gamit mo.. celfone or wallet sa table mo. And Voila..voila na ang gamit mo.
