just got a few pieces of the 20 peso bill (45k++ sa series), i still prefer the old ones.

My Dad gave me a few of these new 20-peso notes... not bad naman, yung map ng Pilipinas e medyo compressed sa printout. parang grad pic ni Quezon yung ichura... looks like Monopoly money at first...

too bad his request for a bundle did not make it before Christmas...

yup marami na ding na release na 20.00 bills.. better quality than our old bills.. pero hindi pa rin kasing ganda nung Australian bills..

Masyado maliit ang halaga ng Phil. Peso para gawin plastic ang notes/bills. Baka mas mahal pa ang cost ng bill kesa sa value mismo.

I was able to get new P20 bills pero si Psycho Duterte pa naka sign. Looks like BSP stopped printing P20 bills na talaga.

Yeah, buti nakakuha pa ko, medyo matagal din bago naibigay yung P20 saka one bundle lang

Last year pa na-stop ang printing ng P20 bills.

If you ask banks they don't have 20 peso bill anymore just the coins.

we were able to find crisp, brand-new 20 peso bills... from our stash last year!
this year, only the coins were available from the bank. but only if one had lucky-enough timing.

the new polymer 1000 peso bills are what the banks are now giving.
i was tuned in, when the CB representative initially commented over the radio, "not to fold the new bills".
i do not know if he was joking or dead serious back then, but apparently, that interview was the basis for the caveat, "do not fold".
kasi naman, these types of bills were readily available, in various states of wear and tear, in nearby tourist-rich countries. and they were changing hands with nary a complaint.
it took forever and a half, for CB to correct the perception of the public.

Puro mga luma na nga ngayon nakikita ko na 20 peso bills. Okay naman ang coins, just somehow para lang nababawasan ang value ng pera pag sinabi na coin.
