the brother of a close friend of mine was inflicted with dengue and is in critical condition right now, he badly needs a B+ blood donor para daw makakuha ng fresh platelets.

Does the donor have to be b+ din? I can donate but I am an O and not a B+.

this blood type thing is really confusing.

nope...bloodtype O accepts only type O... while blood A,B,O and AB accepts O... AB ang universal reciever... i guess... correct me if im wrong...

Wrong. AB is "royal blood". AB only accepts AB, AFAIK. Ewan ko lang about AB accepting O.

ineng...have you heard of iron deficiency anemia....common to women because of their monthly period....maybe you should check on your OBGYN and get a recommendation for iron supplementation...PS don't self medicate iron....it can KILL you...proper dosage is essential because this is a "trace mineral" or needed in trace amounts only....and excess could not be filtered out through urine....mostly blood letting lang.

OT.....papaano ka makakapagdonate kun takot ka naman sa dugo and sugat.....(that's is weird)....college days ko...our frat regularly win this most blood donor thing by the red cross youth org....ganun kami ka willing magdonate...kasi after the donation...you get free beer/s (cervesa negra pa nga minsan)...nakatulong ka na, nakainom ka pa ng libre!!!

sir, kaya po naging "royal blood" dahil sobrang lucky ng mga taong ganito ang bloodtype... kasi their systems will accept any bloodtype...
