I dream of having a bullmastiff but it's too expensive to maintain. I could only imagine how much dog food an adult could eat! Also, I have no experience in taking care of bullmastiff puppies so I don't wanna risk losing the puppy.

You may try philippinepetfinder, I recently got my hotdog dog from there. We used to breed rotts and pitbulls in the 90s and we advertised in Buy and Sell.

yes, bullmastiff really eats alot. but they eat less compared to my neopolitan mastiff before. hehehehe. yun kaya yata isang buong baboy kainin.

i had no problems raising my puppy. maybe nagkataon lang. i had more problems with my rott puppies before.

but the protection and the love the bullmastiff will give u is enough to compensate for their big appetite.

as i have mentioned to kenz in my private message, they are unlike other breeds na makahol at masyadong maingay. people can pass outside our gate without my bull making any noise. pero once a person touches our gate or initiate to enter it, ibang usapan na.

i love my bullmastiff bruno!

Please post pictures of your doggies Very few own Bullmastiffs in Manila because it's so expensive. I inquired before and some puppies go as high as 35k!

here are the pictures of my bullmastiff bruno taken when he was only 5 months old .





yang antique chair na yan, 4 tao person can fit pero when bruno was a puppy, kasyang kasya lang sa kanya. now, di na sya pwedi dyan, di na kasya. now, bruno is around 1 year and 5 months.

enjoying my manila vacation so far. arrived last night and has only 3 hours sleep as of now.

saw bruno when i arrived last night. still looking good but has lost a number of pounds. too bad our caretaker was on leave for 2 weeks and it was another housemaid who took care of him. di siguro gamay. and might have missed the original caretaker. di masyadong kumain.

buti na lang nakita ako at dumating na caretaker nya.

im sure it will convince u to get yourself a bullmastiff also.

kasi when i arrived home, i didnt want to take pictures of him because he lost so much weight due to the caregiver's vacation.

tapos, i was waiting til bruno gains a little before i take his pictures pero nakalimutan ko na.

anyway, i think bullmastiff can go along well with any breed as long as they have been raised together.

i have another dog (askal) and they are good buddies.

my neighbor's black labrador also gets along well with bruno because they see each other almost everyday.

pero tinatahulan nya mga dogs who passby our gates kasi di nya kilala.

i havent contacted lorey because im leaving on monday back to alaska for the summer then ill be back before xmas so i wont be able to care for a puppy BM right now .. my plan is soon as i get back from the states ill get me one as my xmas gift to my daugther ;)

lets keep this thread open so we can have more inputs from our doglover community as well ...

CFY are you planning on getting one yourself? if you do hit me up on how it went & such ...
