He feels this so strongly that he would give up his own eyes so the girl will be whole again (as before the accident) even if that means he has to give up his job (photography) and interest (motorcycles).Originally posted by Ungas

And even that doesn't let him free from his own guilt and feels he is not worthly of the love and attention from the girl (hence the ending).

just clarifying that a person cant easily live w/ one eye only..
i also cant help but cry when i first watched this..
especially when i heard the guy murmuring things when
the eye transplant just ended..
i just wish i could understand the words he was saying.
this is still the best music video i have ever seen..
and have watched a lot of times.
