    Im a catholic also.

But I believe in GOD Almighty.

I pray kahit saan, nakikipag usap ako sa kanya kahit saan at kahit anong oras.

I believe na nandito lang sya sa tabi ko kahit saan ako magpunta para gabayan ako.

Kung magkasala naman ako nandyan sya para paalalahanan ako at bigyan nang tamang pag iisipan para lagpasan yun.

I have an utmost belief in God and in the absolute power of prayers. I don't need any major miracle to make my belief in Jesus stronger. Just waking up everyday, smelling the air and seeing my wonderfull wife and my kid makes me say "I am so blessed!". For me, every minute I have on this earth is already a miracle in itself.

State ko ulit ang firm belief ko sa issue na to.... Political and Religious topics are pointless debates/discussions, they have been going on for centuries, and isa lang ang resulta... More Violence.

    Hehe.

hindi lahat ng non-believers e materialistic. albert einstein was not materialistic, so was mark twain, hemingway, and abe Lincoln.

    By Mark Twain:

If I were to construct a God I would furnish Him with some way and qualities and characteristics which the Present lacks. He would not stoop to ask for any man's compliments, praises, flatteries; and He would be far above exacting them. I would have Him as self-respecting as the better sort of man in these regards.
He would not be a merchant, a trader. He would not buy these things. He would not sell, or offer to sell, temporary benefits of the joys of eternity for the product called worship. I would have Him as dignified as the better sort of man in this regard.
He would value no love but the love born of kindnesses conferred; not that born of benevolences contracted for. Repentance in a man's heart for a wrong done would cancel and annul that sin; and no verbal prayers for forgiveness be required or desired or expected of that man.
In His Bible there would be no Unforgiveable Sin. He would recognize in Himself the Author and Inventor of Sin and Author and Inventor of the Vehicle and Appliances for its commission; and would place the whole responsibility where it would of right belong: upon Himself, the only Sinner.
He would not be a jealous God -- a trait so small that even men despise it in each other.
    He would not boast.
He would keep private His admirations of Himself; He would regard self-praise as unbecoming the dignity of his position.
He would not have the spirit of vengeance in His heart. Then it would not issue from His lips.
There would not be any hell -- except the one we live in from the cradle to the grave.
There would not be any heaven -- the kind described in the world's Bibles.
He would spend some of His eternities in trying to forgive Himself for making man unhappy when he could have made him happy with the same effort and he would spend the rest of them in studying astronomy.

original question kung ako non believer...hmmmm

Siguro parang yung nangyari kay St. Augustine. Nung nagsalita yung Bible sa harap nya. It said "Read me! Read Me!" Nagtuloy tuloy ang conversion nya since then.

or nung nangyare kay St. Paul. On his way to persecute Christians, nabulag sha for three days. Then God gave his sight again.

If it were to happen to me...(if i was a non believer) I will surely believe then and there. Remember having faith is also grace given to us by God. Asa aten na if we'll receive it or not.

i'm not an agnostic. i believe in a higher being and us having a purpose, and was raised roman catholic

but i also believe that the interpretations of men (i.e. the church) is flawed and that we have been lied to over the centuries (tamang da vinci code, hehe)

i think i would believe more if something miraculous happened to me. parang ngayon kasi lahat ng ok sa buhay ko, sariling sikap...at lahat ng masama ay bad decisions ko rin. simply put, i don't feel God's hand in my life enough

you have to have Him in your life first - not just on sundays and holidays - before being able to feel His hand.

We live on tectonic plates that float on redhot magma. Everywhere in the universe, there is violent nuclear fusion of hydrogen that feed the stars, blackholes so potent it can suck in light, comets, asteroids and other celestial bodies in continuous motion, any moment threatening to hit this planet. On the molecular level, electrons tirelessly orbit the proton-neutron core. The human body is powered by the explosion of oxygen and sugar. The earth moves around the sun at 18.55 miles/sec, rotating at approximately .5 km/sec at the equator. All of these occurences point toward a chaotic existence for man, but surprisingly, order generally prevails. So what manner of Power keeps such a balance in a universe that threatens to explode, or implode, at any moment? Just a thought for you guys. Have a great day.

IMO you don't just put your faith in God's hands and do nothing, you've got to do something with your life whatever that is. Faith is overrated here, and our country suffers because of it, you'll hear people say "bahala na ang diyos" and do nothing which is exactly where our country is going.

i heard a pastor who talks about God "those who dont belive in God would burn in hell"i asked pano yun mga nakatira sa bundok and there no way they could come down, pano yun mga sinaunang tao, who was born and died to worship the fire etc..."they too would burn in hell" pano yun mga buddist, islam etc..."they dont belive in God they all go to hell" which question my thought is God that selfish, that he creates some man to be played around by other man and later be burned in hell? in a funny way i said(this was during a bible study na naki seat in ako) ok pala dun sa ibaba masaya dami happennings
moral of the story as a human like me we dont judge a person by his or her belief, my principle be that he worships the stone or the sun, basta he doesnt speak ill even think ill of other person, do good and justifiablen to others doesnt condemn God or any other sacred authorities... i believe God has an open heart to accept him and God has his way to open the heart of that particular person=)

only God can judge us. true.

    scattered thoughts:
two words. free will. greatest privilege God has given us.
and yes, faith without action is useless.
again, grace. pag may grace ka nothing is impossible. i think it's a bit cynical to think na nde ka magbabago kahit may miracles na sa harap mo IMO
ignore the blabbing. just killing time here kaya dami ko na tinayp.
anyway, bat iba na ata yung argument dito. kala ko ang tanong is kung ikaw ay non believer ano kaya makakapagpaniwala sa yo sa Dyos.... hehehe

I was super close to losing my faith in God during one part of my life. Everything was going terribly bad.

The only thing that brought me back was the love given to me by people who loved God.

Not religion or doctrine, just pure unconditional love. Everything else will follow.
