Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese..
I even toured AF1 as an assigned Japanese, together with another colleague who was an assigned Chinese. We were together with our other Caucasian foreigner guests and was never questioned.... No talkies, just walk around... And out... That was fun...![]()
I get tagged as Korean or Japanese a lot, specially when I was in college.
My oldest daughter often get mistaken for Korean or Japanese because of her very light complexion coupled with her mom's looks.
napagkamalan na akong intsik sa mga airport, binabati ako ng "ni hao"![]()
Turkish, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Colombian.
Being an avid soccer fan makes it even more convincing. Whenever I join a small group in juggling a soccer ball or scrimmage, I fit right in.
Edit:
When I visited LPC last year, I stuck out like a sore thumb even when dressed very cheaply.

I had a meeting with a prospective Japanese subcontractor in Batangas this morning.... The usual introduction of credentials, name and position with the business card... The head of the factory is Japanese and his vp and another operations guy are too. He spoke a little Japanese to me and so I replied back with what little I know... There were a couple more pleasantries in Japanese...So we went into the conference room and was discussing the company profile... They were surprised to learn that we are HQed in the Valley and so he asked how many expats we have in our Philippine operation... I told them that we are all Filipino and that was when they realized that i am not Japanese... Funny thing was the two Filipinas who were with them thought I was Japanese too.... obviously they were not paying attention to the name written on my card.... (But my surname may read or sound French)
Ako laging pinagkakamalaang seaman!
