Easy.
1. Just take a pic with the hood closed.
2. Take a pic with the hood open from exactly the same spot (tripod reqd)
3. superimpose closed hood pic over open hood pic
4. use the erase tool to 'open' the closed hood.
but make sure you use a very low 'flow' setting like <5%
also make sure that the engine bay gets good lighting.
