THE foreplay was so terrific it nearly tricked a pretty 23-year-old housewife to surrender to the sensual advances -- until she smelled the body odor and realized that a would-be rapist was groping her breasts in the middle of the night while her husband was snoring in bliss right beside them.
Somewhat belatedly early yesterday morning, Susan (real name withheld) realized that the touches and kisses were not as passionate and as tender as those of her husband's.
"Mukhang lasing 'yung asawa, at hindi alam ang nangyayari," a police investigator told People's Tonight.
It was around 3 a.m. when Susan, of Lingunan, Valenzuela City, woke up to the tingling sensation and was ready for a sweet surrender. She thought it was her husband who was caressing and kissing her so she did not refuse the ***ual advances.
So she let "his" hands wander all over her body. And since she was already carried away, Susan told investigators, the strange lover also succeeded to undress her.
Susan shamelessly admitted to the police that she even helped the suspect take off her underwear, thinking that it was her husband whom she was making love with.
"Kaya lang nu'ng mapalapit na ang katawan niya, iba ang amoy niya, kaya idinilat ko ang mga mata ko at nakita ko nga sa anino niya na hindi siya ang asawa ko," Susan said.
She then felt around her to confirm her suspicion.
"Nu'ng nakapa ko na may katabi ako, agad kong nilingon at nakita ang asawa ko na nakatalikod pa sa akin at natutulog," she added.
She screamed and shouted for help, prompting the would-be Romeo to run.
The suspect left his wristwatch, a pair of slippers and a towel.
"Sa pagmamadali niyang makatakbo, naiwan niya ang mga gamit niya. May suspetsa na kami kung sino siya dahil sa pangalan sa tuwalya," she said.
Police said the suspect did not take anything from the couple's house, giving rise to speculations that it was the woman who was the real target of the suspect
