oh, I learned something new. I always thought eggs had 0 carbs. It has a small amount din pala.

I can't imagine a diet with just eggs and meat though. I need some kind of vegetable.

Some people are blessed with having good genetics, whatever they eat, no penalty whatsoever from eating sweets and carbs, im not one of them, i really let my self go when is was in my 30s, ive been lifting weights since i was in my teens, did a little powerlifting, into mtb and competative shooting a couple of years, puro excersise, like monthly pque-tagaytay and back bike ride then gym sa evening, then i stumbled upon mark bell's video, life changing

isnt nuts (almonds, cashews, etc) suppose to be a staple in your diet?

Mr. Big's name refers to the size of his guns. He posted a pic of himself a few months back. Those chickens will easily get burned, with his metabolic rate much higher than that of other people.

Mag e-enjoy naman ako sa maraming ulam. Pero pag may sinigang na baboy at patis. Ibang usapan na LOL. Peyborit ko talaga yan. Sa pinoy cuisine, more of a soup guy ako.

Even between my teens and twenties, I could already feel a significant difference in my metabolism. Back in college, I regularly ate 4-6 cups of rice with one piece of Mang Inasal. I also did the 1-rice-1-siomai diet. Didn't gain weight no matter what I did.

Now, if I pig out consistently for a week, it'll take its toll on me.

I feel lethargic without rice when I play badminton (2-3x a week). [emoji44]

I also happen to love wings with rice, katsudon, and many other meals that just aren't the same without rice. [emoji39]

Am enjoying my youth. Someday, even if I increase my exercise and control my diet, my metabolism won't be this quick. [emoji854]

I always have chocolates and when I take it out of my diet I get a headache. When I tried going on a low carb diet I felt myself literally getting hot from inside. Hard to explain but it's not the hot from the weather type. Felt good but I don't have the discipline to quit chocolates. I wish I could just quit certain foods

    Getting hot inside?

Is that in anyway connected to food Cathy?

I didnt say you have to stop eating chocolates, i stock up on fudgee bars, mga 2 plastic and a box of donuts or chips delight, i eat them always in a sunday, starting around 6pm, after eating a heavy carb meal, mosty its my favorite sinigang and plenty of rice, rest a little bit, then i start eating the junk food, stuff myself silly, times up when its midnight, the following day youll be bloated and its back to a no carb diet again, youll lose that bloated feeling after 2-3 days, btw its a 14 day cycle. If you cheat even once in those 14days, start all over from day one. Kaya mo yan

for obese it might be possible without any adverse effect cause one is just losing water weight. he has to have some sort of exercise too like running in treadmill with sauna suit on to lose that kind of weight. cutting calories will not automatically shed those water.

but for healthy, sedentary, or with active lifestyle individuals, 2lbs/wk is ideal. anything more than that is just hurting thier progress because there is a potential they are also losing precious muscles along with it. we know that those muscles have a potential in helping one lose those fats faster.

Exactly what my health buff friend told me. More than 2 lbs per week and you will sag and look haggard. After college I lost weight drastically, people thought I was on drugs because my skin suffered. I did not have acne or anything but it just looked bad.
