just make sure you let the check bounce talaga. as in deposit mo sa account mo before thencheck becomes stale (6 months ata from the date on the check)

yug isa kong friend, nagpautang, tapos nung malapit na mag-due ang check, the check issuer called and asked that they not deposit the check muna. this went on for a certain period of time. when my friend couldn't contact the issuer anymore, she tried to deposit the check, di na honored ng bank, kasi stale na daw. Patay, di nya makasuhan ang issuer.
