why does PLDT keep on increasing our connection speeds? kaka-increase palang last october, ngayon mag increase na naman?

before kasi there were some routing/connectivity problems kaya medyo slow ma-access ng members ang tsikot using pldt dsl and vibe.

sir tsikot, ok naman na ang speed sa tsikot, pero mas mabagal pa rin minsan kesa sa ibang mga forums, pero tolerable naman. dati naman kasi umaabot ako ng more than 30min para lang mag load ng 1 page.

rukawa, you don't have to do anything. basta nalang bibilis ang connection mo.

Over-rated naman ang speed ng PLDT-DSL services, di naman talaga umaabot ng ganun kabilis pag ginagamitan ko ng internet speed measurement.

Sa tagal-tagal ko ng gumagamit di pa ako talaga umaabot ng 256kbps kahit na plan 3000 pa gamit ko.

Guys, don't use mcafee or bandwidthplace coz these are not reliable throughput speeds.

I suggest you guys visit www.dslreports.com and check out their tweaking page and try the speedtest there. It gives you recommendations pa on what to tweak and try on your system

Btw, to those who are using DSL 256 and have been upgraded to DSL 512, be sure to adjust your RWIN to 20,328 to achieve best results. Use Dr.TCP available at the tweak section.
