i think negligible lang yung mga price difference kung meron man, among the different rolex retailers. nagkakatalo lang sila, maski the same model yung watch, kung may extras yung watch. take the rolex submariner for example, definitely mas mahal kung yung unit na binebenta nung isa ay pearl face, or white gold yung material, etc. vs stainless steel material, ordinary face, etc. otherwise pareho lang tlga presyo nyan.
maintaining the rolex should be the more relevant question. 2 lang naman usually ang nagiging problem nyan, either maging atrasado yung time or maging advanced sya masyado. culprit is the oil inside the watch. pag naging malapot yung oil masyado, nagiging atrasado yung watch, pag naging malabnaw yung oil, nagiging advanced naman sya. this routine service is usually undertaken by the rolex center, ito na yata yung lugar near the AIM. service center lang yata ito, dati itong nasa pasay road e. so be careful of watch centers that claim they service rolex watches, alam ko even the rolex retailers dont service the rolex watches they sell, they just send it to the rolex center.

Presyo: Medyong wala pong pagkakaiba ng presyo ng Rolex kung galing sa authorized dealer. This is considered a jewelry... Most Rolex owners don't shop for prices for this hehe, medyo standard ang pricing nya coz may market / trading value to.

If you get it from abroad, do the math, most people convert their dollar purchases to peso and say "mas mura dahil HK$50000 lang to or P400,000 (kunwari x8 ang conversion)." But they fail to realize that unless they have HK$ to begin with, you actually BOUGHT HK$ before you bought the watch, as you probably know, buying foreign currency is more expensive than selling foreign currency.

Read the main disclaimer of the Rolex page

    Rolex Website

These tips help, but as you know, any good counterfeiter will have these resource as well and they can make it look "real" given enough budget.

washington shangrila madami silang display hologram ang tawag ung green na sticker sa likod, may papeles yan certificate serial number from rolex geneva, switzerland . pag pre owned wala n yang papeles kadalasan nagalaw na ang makina like in rolex watch center in hyatt hotel kaya may warranty sila binibigay. 5 years ata. fyi the rolex center in makati ay service center lang d=hindi sila nag bebenta.

if it is for personal everyday use, the best tip is to buy pre owned. probably get around 30% off brand new price. just check that it is real. make sure the bracelet is still in good condition (yun ng naman ang usually natatamaan ng wear and tear).

Yung Rolex sa Corinthian ay service center. Wala yatang sales doon.

Ang pre-owned Rolex and other watches, sa Hyatt.

Ang locally authorized is Washington. Lucerne baka mas mura ng konti.

OT: Glenn, kala ko ba wala na yung contact mo? Bumili tuloy ako sa Lucerne. Ok na rin. Puwede na ang presyo.

First you must learn on how to spot a fake rolex .

    • Authentic Rolex watches never have a manufacturer eng raving of a logo, design or Rolex name on the outside of the caseback. The only exceptio n to this is the Sea-Dweller which says "Rolex Oyster Original Gas Escape Valve" on the back in black along with two Rolex logos.
    • Genuine Rolex models are free of engravings on the caseback, therefore they are smooth (however, there are some ladies' models with engraving on the caseback).
    • More recently, some genuine Rolex models were shipped new from the factory with a 3-dimensional, Hologram-encoded sticker on the caseback with a floating Rolex watch crown positioned above the watch's case reference number, which is now printed in black. Most fake stickers are a solid green color or are actually a re petitious "Rolex" pattern, not a hologram.

Bottomline, buy from an authorized dealer you can find them on the Rolex website and for sure di yun fake...

If buying 2nd hand, ask the seller to have it authenticated with you on a Rolex authorized dealer, if he refuses then don't deal...
