    uni-t better than aneng but anengs aren't bad either

    that ut123 is too basic. lacks too many features

    Found this on the web. Not the exact models but any way you look at it, the accuracy on these things are pretty good enough for general use.

    yeah basic is all you need until you wanna test the starting capacitor on that household appliance that you need to work asap

    I recently purchased a used 0.5HP A/C and I noticed that both the compressor and fan were humming loudly in operation. Took this cap off.... It's a 15uF (Herm) and 3uF (Fan). The spec sheet called for a 20uF + 1.5uF. Replaced the cap and the A/C is now quiet.

    Wow, you guys are really good ... right now aircon compressor is vibrating loudly .. and the technician could not even fix it ... it's a 15 year old backup air conditioner ...

    Will just buy another one ... for now, have no skill to fix appliances ... just mostly test for continuity ... once or twice a year ...
