Actually... never really noticed. You're right! Exactly as old. My oldest forum log-in for a local board is at Nissanbayan, where I registered in 2000 or 2002. Those were the days...

I started moderating forums in 1998-2000. But I didn't log on to motoring forums until around 2000-2002.

Blame the internet. We didn't have decent internet in Laguna until the 00's. I've actually been a layout artist and computer-based editor since the early 90's.
