Agree!!! Kahit yung personal ride ko at pati si B13 warcar namin, ayaw namin ipa-drive sa driver as much as possible.
We had a family driver who came to our employment right after i was born and he was really good at taking care of the cars and more importantly, he cared for our family. Tumanda na sa amin and we kept him even if he was semi retired as he was trusted to look after the cars, keep the other drivers in-line, and watch the house when we would go out. When we celebrated his 25th year with us, all he asked for was a nice Seiko watch. His favorite car at home was our old bare-bones boxtype Pajero with no turbo which he kept oh-so-clean. Sadly, he passed away already.

hatid sundo. Php 350.00 libre kain for the day.
Sa akin ang lunch tapos yung dinner doon sa kapitbahay ko... kasi yung kumpare ko naman ang pinagdrive nya sa gabi.Last edited by CLAVEL3699; July 1st, 2013 at 03:51 PM.

to share my experience, I do freelance driving kapag may vacant ako, 3x a week lang naman kasi pasok ko sa university, sayang yung remaining days kaya rumaraket ako (para narin may pambisyo..heheheh este pang-baon kapag may pasok). singil ko depende rin, on-call lang naman kasi ako e pagnapatapat na bakante ako at wala akong pasok sa school tapos may tumawag na magpapadrive e pinapatulan ko na, pero averaging let's say whole day yung lakad nung mag-papadrive (from morning till night) at malayo pa yung route na pupuntahan (let's say probinsya yung biyahe back and forth to manila)..binibigyan ako ng 1000 petot. ok na rin, libre kain at meryenda na kaya lagi busog, pero kapag yung hatid-sundo lang sa airport, magma-mall, sasaglit sa binondo para mamili ng herbs and spice and other chinesse condiments, 300-500 petot ok na libre din kain at meryenda... kaya nga tawag ng mga classmate ko sakin e mr.transporter.hehehhe!!!!

The last driver we got, we paid him P12k/month kasi hindi naman stay in and he was not permanent since we only need him for the duration of my Mom and Auntie's stay here in Manila (3 to 4 mos) Hindi kasama sa usapan food pero he's given a small amount for lunch/merienda. Monday to Friday lang 8 hrs/day.
Ako kasi talaga ang original family driver
