It seems ridiculous to me that anyone can say any negative thing and poke fun at Christians, no matter how distasteful it may be, and its ok, but whatever you do, don't ever question anything about Islam.

Could be that they take their religion more seriously than others. Besides, the fact that certain terrorist groups are misusing Islam to advance their cause is not helping, too.
