It will only work if you have enough land to develop such a setup. Unfortunately it's either we don't have the land, or the owner does not want to sell (and puts a building in that part of unused land you wanted) or the MMDA cannot get hold of proper funding to get it done right in the first place.

I'm no expert but my guess is building segregated underground bus stops at main intersections will be cheaper and more effective in keeping traffic moving compared to the plan to build a highway on top of EDSA.
And a better flowing traffic will benefit everybody: bus drivers, the commuting public and the private vehicle owners.

True. Frustrating, isn't it?
Singapore was able to build underground stations and tunnels for its subway.

dun sa maliit na access will just create bottle neck pag liliko mga kotse dun, making each main highway having only 2 effective free flowing lanes.
about sa bus stop sa ilalim, sa dami ng bus, mapupuno din yan hahaba ang pila aabot sa labas, then magsasakay sila bago pumasok sa bustop dahil sa mga atat na pasahero then magsasakay pa ulit sila dun sa pag labas.
disiplina sa pasahero at driver at bawasan or i control ang bus sa edsa and there will be peace on earth. :D
Sa Fort bonifacio, sinusunod ang bus stops and mga tao naka pila sa bus stops pa.

Whenever the designer of the Tableta PHUV makes a comment, I take notes.
Drawing revised.
- The opening between the main road and the service road is now bigger.
- The service road is now wider at the intersection.
- Bus stops located under EDSA (if there are space constraints).

- "first in, first out" principle (walang singitan)
- segregated according to destination
Singapore is a small country but their sidewalks are wider than ours. Pati industrial areas nila may sidewalk at greenery.
