MMDA to lead EDSA blessing today, to lessen accidents

I saw this news item at Unang Hirit.

MMDA to lead EDSA blessing this morning "to lessen" (daw) the accidents on this main thoroughfare.
And take note.....it would take more than one drum of Holy Water, to bless the whole stretch of the hi-way. Ha-ha!

Sa tingin nyo ba, mababawasan ang accidents, kung puro mga ogags naman ang mga public utility drivers natin?
Aba...., sana bless-an din ni father yung mga kotong cops at traffic enforcers......

Naghahanap ng milagro ang MMDA, ayaw gumamit ng kamay na bakal. Kahapon hopelessly traffic na naman papuntang south, sa Quezon Aveneue flyover umabot...

E bro., sila naman ang main reason ng traffic accidents dahil hindi nila ipinapatupad ang batas trapiko....

Dapat, sila ang buhusan ng isang drum ng tubig... :twak:

6.30am daw sinimulan kanina from magallanes to balintawak.. and another one south bound.. ilang drum kaya na holy water ang magagamit?

Was watching it, actually, live on the news... they didn't seem to have drums of water with them.

Too bad I'm not in Manila... would have loved to take a picture.

So far, no reports of "pasaway" drivers bursting into flames. Must try harder.

So that's what that was all about. I saw the start of that convoy when i was coming from White Plains. Inunahan ko na as i did not want to get caught up. A bus was even speeding past them at the leftmost lane, and nope, the driver did not burst to flames either as Niky hopes they would.

But seriously, blessing to decrease accidents?
