ayus yung mga informer nang abusayaf.. binigyan nang 10M$, eh 4 sila.. so tig 2.5M$ yun!!! wew 115M petot each.. parang tumama sa lotto!
NO. I'd only consider myself a millionaire if i have net assets equivalent to at least one milllion US dollar just like those Abu Sayyaf informers.

Being rich is different from being financially free. madaming pilipino ang mahirap na may pera. It’s not what you have it’s what you do! When a person wins the lottery or a game show... lets say, 1 million pesos... does he become rich? NO! isa syang taong mahirap na may pera.
As long as a person works for money and exerts effort to earn, in my opinion, he is poor. And even if a person earns 1 million per month but spends 1.1 million per month, mas mahirap pa siya sa daga.
Financial freedom is my goal in life. To earn enough money to sustain my life style without working for it. Millions? Yeah, maybe… but what I am after is to establish my businesses that I need not to work for it but earn money from it and sustain my life…. Till I grow old.
For me, richness is the amount of time you will live normally without physically working for money. So, if you have 500,000 and you spend P100, 000 per month, you are 5 months rich.
Don’t be blinded with the BIG amount… work on something that will continually give you income and build it slowly. Till it grows and sustain your life.![]()
Hmm millionaire ako in terms of friends, luck, luck and some more luck. Luck only comes once, but if you let it go and it keeps on coming back.. Then you are destined to make a fortune out of something -- in my opinion. That's if you won't mess up.
I've been watching the film "Blow" for several times. Based on true story yun diba, the guy there made millions of dollars. Only to end up in prison. My take, he already had a chance to get out totally, eh wala bumagsak pa din sya.
Now do I see myself being a millionaire? Yes, maybe tomorrow. Next week, next month. Next year, who knows. Maraming way. It's just about making the right choice. Gayahin natin ung mga ibang pinoy, like ung gumagawa ng bag na now nageexport na. Ang puhunan 10k.
hmmm...for me..pag umabot na sa puntong di mo na mabilang ang value ng assets mo at kailangan mo na ng accountant to do such....then you're there.
i think we will need to change the definition of a millionaire from a person having 1 million pesos net worth to someone who has 1 million pesos of net REAL assets. meaning di kasali ang real estate, vehicles, etc. these properties are in fact liabilities since you need to maintain and pay taxes on them but they do not earn any income until they are sold. so dapat yung 1 million must be assets like bank deposits, investsments, etc. over your total liabilities (liabilities + non-earning assets). things that earn and not things that you need to spend your income on.
