From what I know, there is no expiration BUT the oils used to create the scents change as they age. So what your perfume smells like today will be different a couple of years from now.

Yung iba, nabili ko more than 4 yrs. ago pa. So okay pa kaya yung mga yun? Langya, baka wala na yung bango nila. Nasa kahon pa sila, at nak-plastic seal pa, di pa talaga nagagalaw. Nakatago sa cabinet namin.

oil based perfume last long, alcohol based cologne and EDT when exposed or onced opend evaporates thereby loses its efficacy.
you can keep your scents inside your closet w/o any direct sunlight or keep it away from temperature above 15degree.
store then inside ref with low temp is better.

I have a collection of over 50 types of colognes and perfumes since 1980's. oil or alcohol based perfumes only evaporate but has no expiration as we can check on every bottle – One example is my Paco Rabanne (given by my ate in 1983) since hindi ito atomized nag evaporate ito ng mas mabilis compared sa mga sprays ko. Till now meron pa siya at 100% the same ang scent niya, mas tumapang pa nga siguro dahil nabawasan ang water content. Kaya sulit magkaron for everyday use or for collection ng atomized kahit medyo mahal.
