i just bought a APC UPS. iba pala ang plug na gamit nito.

meron naman syang included na 2 cables na para sa ganyan ang plug. which is good for the PC and the monitor. gusto ko rin isama sana sa UPS yung speaker, router, modem and a table lamp.

Dun kasi namin nakuha yung mga universal adaptors (though half the box seemed useless). Alam ko may kasya dun, eh.

    Sa ACE ba wala?

Wag mong sama yung table lamp. Di kelangan, and it would draw a LOT of power.

i also have an APC UPS. what i did was to buy a computer power cord sa mga computer shops tapos pinutol ko yung isang side then kinabitan ko ng ordinary electrical outlet. in this way, pwede ko i-plug any appliance (i.e electric fan, etc.)

get an ordinary pc power cord, cut mo. Be sure to identify kung alin and ground since you can do away with this. All you need are the poles (+ & -). Get an ordinary extension cord. Kung built-in yung plug, putulin mo. Then pagdugtungin yun dalawang cords (pc power cord & extn cord). Apply electrical tape to seal. Voila!

Used to do that sa dating job ko, we have monitoring setups of 50 tv stations (each setup has tv & 4 vcr). Ala ako makuha cheaper UPS kaya pinatulan ko yung mga lumabas na small UPS na pang-PC (anyways, may genset naman kami, what i need that time is kahit around 10 secs lang, ung kasi ang delay ko from Meralco to Genset).
