Ginawa namin nung Undas bumili kami lahat ng Sun Simpack at 150 pesos each; yun ang ginamit namin na walkie-talkie
PROMDIBOY -- interesting yung nangyari sa inyo. it means that your store must have been under surveillance and a complaint filed regarding your use of the FRS. there should be a record of this complaint being filed against your store and dapat authorized officer ng NTC ang signatory dito.
siguro na target yung tindahan ninyo kasi regular and usage ng FRS thus easy to pinpoint and locate for enforcement of the NTC regulations. i would assume of course that you were just using the FRS in line with your business and that selling FRS is not your business otherwise, pati stocks ninyo baka kinuha
now assuming that the procedure for the enforcement of the NTC circular was correct, still, the substantive portion of the law has not been addressed. and this is really that wala talagang batas, AFAIK, regulating FRS or personal radio service. in fact, pati personal radio service ay hindi naka define sa Office Order ng NTC.
tama ka rin na hindi na pinalaki ito because sadly, the government does not consider business inconvenience as their concern.
oftentimes, the problem with government is that it makes doing business more difficult for our businessmen kaya ganito tayo
in the alternative, what would prevent them from bringing a letter to you advising you about the FRS, then attaching a registration form, official receipt and upon completion of the registration, a wil be issued permit right then and there and the business inconvenience would be very minimum.
What da???? We use FRS radios all the time dito sa PGH! Makes life easier for us doctors when we need to communicate with each other. Saves time, saves lives.
Di ba yung mga crew ng McDo or other food chains eh naka FRS din?
Doc WireTap- - -> dapat ata eh ipa register ninyo yung FRS dyan sa inyo, to make it legal, di naman sinabi na "can not use" iyan...
Pero saang circular ba nakalagay yung FRS as need to have a permit? I was searching it on the NTC website, I cant find it. Does anyone knows exactly what Circular or Memorandum can we find it? I also use FRS and I use it when we shop at malls, instead of text or celfon calls, no charge and fast too...eh baka mahuli pa ako niyan, nerbyoso pa naman ako....
I like to point out din na FRS (Family Radio Service) doesn't interrupt the VHF or UHF band spectra used by commercial establishments, military and government. I don't see the point kung bakit kelangan ipa-register.

New NTC Circular: Owners of vehicles with keyless entry/alarm system should register their units with the NTC. Failure would result to vehicle confiscation.
plain and simple another source of income sa kanila... the past few years talagang marami ng gumagamit ng FRS dahil sa convenience nito lalo sa mall to call the drivers/maids etc. siguro naisip nila na kung kaya nila bumili ng FRS dapat lang kaya rin nila magbayad, and beside with the amount that GMA spend on the last election and using the gov't. resources at that I'm sure wala ng budget ang mga gov't agencies natin or at least hinde ganun kalaki...so they have to look for other means na madagdagan ang budget nila or kanya-kanyang diskarte na so to speak so who's the better target than the class b and c citizens of this country, who basically is the working class or a small/medium entrepeneurs and in fact is the one paying the right taxes to the gov't., and sino ba ang milking cow ng gov't diba mga working class? new taxes left and right pero yun talagang malalaking busineses billions of pesos na hinde naibabayad na taxes sa gov't. ok pa rin....
subukan nila sabihin na icomfiscate nila yun mga FRS ng mga class A citizen tingnan ko kung hinde sila sipain sa mukha ng mga yun and right there and then meron ng lawyer na kumakausap sa kanila
remember the blue shirts wearing "cleaners" ng street natin nun last election? nasaan na sila ngayon? I thougth patrabaho ni GMA yun? the gov't spend P9 millions/day for them which in fact was taken from the road user tax? this tax was supposedly for the improvement of our roads, kaya nag taas ng fee ang registration fee ng kotse eh, did we see any improvement?
how about the our fiscal crisis? they told us repeatedly that we're in deep s*#$, so they would be able to pass new taxes then nun malapit ng ma pass, suddenly the gov't said na tapos na ang fiscal crisis in a span of a month? natapos na kaagad, kunmg hind eba naman panloloko para lang mag pasok ng bagong taxes i brainwashed nila ang tao...
I had our communications department manager inquire with NTC through our vhf radio maintenance agency. According to them, NTC does not recognize FRS. Di daw yan pwede iregister dito sa pinas. What I don't understand is that they suggest if you use it only within a compound, ok lang daw? Huh? We use commercial motorola radios and pay 1,000 per year per unit as registration. If it is like that, it would be better to transfer to FRS radios! Parang malabo so I had it verified again. Waiting for their reply pa.
