A cancer patient who prayed, was he saved? physically no. Spiritually, yes. Cancer patients families became more stronger/ naging mas loving. The sickness brought them together. We have someone from the family who died from cancer the experience made us realize a lot. People praying for peace, may world peace ba? wala. pero imagine how many people there are praying. Just praying alone is grace itself. Nagiging holy pa yung mga tao because they're praying. Victims of rape/crime/terrorism/unjustly things/corruption, lahat yan may magandang nadulot nde lang naten makikita. In our grief siguro nde naten marerealize. Minsan our misfortune (sa paningin naten) is blessing for others. Nde naten masasabi. You're just looking at the surface of things. May mas malalim pang rason na posibleng nde naten makita. Dahil nga tao lang tayo. Nde tayo Dyos. Don't take it against God/supreme being lahat ng masasamang nangyayare sa mundo. Evil things are from the devil. God allows these things to happen. It doesn't mean na ang Dyos ang may gawa nun.

Anyway, sorry for the OT.

ts1n1ta..sorry if i missed the point.....napag-usapan lang yang tungkol sa prayer kaya natin natumbok yan...anyway, just want share my views that i don't think the death of one or more person has a bigger cause we cannot see..we don't actually have to create a cause or reason to believe why some people die...that's where we get into trouble actually....creating the whys instead of accepting reality.

for something good to came out..it doesn't have to be at the expense of another person's life....people or families can be more closer and stronger if they choose too....i just can't imagine someone who love life so much and even begged for it but eventually died and because god wants some good things to happen he rejects the prayer...doesn't sound rational to me.

i agree that there are good things coming our of tragedy but the point is when people pray at the time of their death..isn't god listening to the person's desire and instead choose to reject their prayer because he want's families to be closer and stronger or whatever his purpose that may be?....hmmm

have you read Isaiah 45:7? god made everything isn't it? including the devil....

i don't wanna to get into more details about this topic....thanks for sharing your views ts1n1ta....
