    here's our situation:
i live in a subdivision in antipolo and our source of water is supplied by a deepwell and operated by the developer. since the developer will not be able to renew a permit to operate a deep well then they have to give way to manila water for them to supply and operate our water system. without much notification from the homeowners, there was a MOA created among manila water, officers of the HOA and the developer. based on the MOA we have to pay the following: (approximate)
    1. Downpayment = Php 1,620
    2. Monthly for 18 months on top of the consumed water = Php 560

    Overall roughly Php 10,000.

    Questions:
    1. Is this over priced? Most of ive ask is around 6-7 thou only.
    2. If over priced, me under the table negotiation kaya dito? (tsismis lang ito)
    3. If over priced, legal ba itong ganitong transaction?

    appreciate your comments please.

bite the bullet pare..tutal monthly basis naman ganyan talaga..siguro mas mataas ng konti dyan sa inyo for some reason...pero yun ginahawa naman pag meron ng manila water/maynilad.....in the long run baka mas mura pa rin kesa walang big utility co dyan...

Siguro just ask for the breakdown of the costs you enumerated and question the charges that seem dubious. If you have an active homeowner's association, they should be able to give you the answers you seek. The homeowner's association is supposed to be on your representative here.

Manila Water handles our area in QC and so far, ok naman service nila.

    Manila Water should be okay.

I think may malaking overhead problem ang Maynilad...... Malas lang namin,- dito ang area nila sa South MM....

Mura pa yan. We have the same situation sa village namin dito sa QC. No choice naman e. Mga 17K ang babayaran namin in a span of a year ata (not sure of the terms, kasi wife ko yung nag-asikaso).

im not questioning the service of manila water and right now malakas tubig namin even if we are using deep well na supplied by the developer. sabi nga nung mga taga antipolo malakas nga raw yung pressure comming from manila water.
