hindi rin... baka, pinatagal muna, para caught off guard ang would-be victim

ages ago, noong may time pa ako basahin ang sunday newspaper mag., may feature doon ang kwento ng isang hitman. Meron syang handler, inaayos lahat, from military to policemen details whenever he is on assignment. Malinis. Client to Handler, Handler to hitman ang usapan. No emotions involve lang talaga.

Let's just be extra-alert when we are in public places, especially malls. Bad things can happen anywhere and at any time.

One other thing to think of ahead of time is, what if you were very near an assassin who was about to terminate his victim, would you get involved?

sa pedro gil entrance ng robinsons manila, may metal detector. sa bawa't taong dadaan, nag-a-alarm (daming pwedeng mag-alarm: susi, cellphone, coins, etc). pero walang ginagawa ang security guard. ginagawa na lang ata nilang counter e para malaman ilang tao ang pumapasok sa mall either that or the security guards really don't know what that *TOOOT* sound means

pero pinaka nakakatuwa e yung mga nag-che-check kuno sa trunk ng cars kapag papasok ka sa mall parking. isang silip lang pwede na heheh i can't help but shrug everytime mag-pa-park ako sa mall. waste of time lang ginagawa ng mga guard na yan e. plus invasion of privacy. there was this time a friend of mine had an M16 in the back of his CRV and pagsilip ng guard ni hindi man lang niya napansin. (at the time, nasa gun case yung M16 pero may malaking nakasulat sa case na "M16" and there was no other stuff in the CRV's "trunk.") tawa ng tawa yung kaibigan ko .

one thing pa pala about the incident.. kasama nung victim yung 16-year old nyang anak na lalaki kaya nung bumagsak yung tatay nya, kinuha daw ng anak yung baril ng tatay nya at itinutok sa mga tao na para bang hinahanap ung asassin.. tyempo naman na dating ng mga guards with their guns drawn at tinutukan yung anak and ready to fire.. muntik na mapagkamalan yung anak ng victim ang asassin..
May dala ring baril ang tatay? So, very lax ang security sa mall na yon.

yes, the security was very lax... but the guards said they knew na may dala baril yung tatay. since prominent person yung victim, they allowed the gun to be brought inside the mall..

that's why i never trust mall security.

nung kasagsagan ng rizal day bombings, my friends were actually able to sneak in an RPG (with grenades included) into robinson's galleria in their pickup, just to prove their point.

what more sa baril na smaller?

kawawa naman yun anak. habang-panahon nya dadalhin yun scar na yun sa memory
nya. I know of 2 sisters na na-witness nila father na-gundown sa isang farm (parang land dispute ang dahilan), yun isa nag-pulis at yun isa nag-law.

Security guards can be intimidated at times. Naaalal ko pa dati nang sinabihan namin yung guard na wag na pakialalman ang clutch bag namin dahil may baril kami. Di nga pinakialaman at pumayag na ipasok(Not in a gun show).

...nakakainis tuloy yung pagkukunwari nila. lalo na yung mga guards na may mirror to peek under the car thing. do they actually know what they're looking for?

It's not clear to me what the circumstances were, kung bakit may galit sa kanya but the fact that he's carying a gun e kaya niyang gamitin at may pinaglalaanan siya. Hopefully, justice will be done and that this case not be added to the long list of unsolved crimes. For sure, may kasalanan din siya na matindi to merit the assasination - clean as it now seems. The poor kid, well, he will have to endure the sight the rest of his life. With regards to the place of choice eh wala naman talagang magagawa dyan to a determined gunman.
