There are two fields presented by power lines - electric field produced by the voltage and magnetic field by the current in the lines.

The earth has a natural polarized areas and has inherent magnetic fields. We have the magnetic north and south poles which are a few degrees off the north and south poles. That's why we use magnetic compasses for directions.

So we are exposed to EMFs since we are conceived here on earth. How about the radio waves, microwaves, sound waves, waves produced by the sun, etc. etc. Computers monitors, TVs, cellphones, microwave ovens generates greater EMF radiations.

We had been working and researching on EMFs and yet to find any conclusive indication that power lines poses risk hazards. If they have some reliable information and findings, tell the whole world about it so that everyone could know or else, the world will see us as a country run by morons paranoid about irrelevant things.

the MRT moves at approximately 60-65kph. so unless the train would stop for a long period of time sa harap ng isang posh village, mahirap mag-recon at that speed. ngayon, mas mahirap ng sumulip kasi tad-tad na ng ads yung side ng MRT trains, covering most of the windows.

pero nasunod pa rin naman sila, di ba? yung MRT stations a Buendia at Ayala eh underground. may part dun sa pagitan ng Santolan at Ortigas stations na ground level.

yung no fly-zone, panahon pa ni Pres.Marcos yun. Ang numero unong mga bahay na no-fly zone nung era nya ey yung sa kanya at sa close relatives nya. Kahit R/C plane eh bawal. Lifted na yun - matagal na. Sa US lang ang may mga no-fly zone na private property.

i think it's no longer an issue who was first to erect a building or pole in the location. what matters is whether the NPC's transmission towers had right-of-way. I believe they have kasi hindi maitatayo yun kung hindi approved ang right-of-way. Unless there's under the table agreement of course. Pero hindi naman corruption or anomalous transaction ang reklamo ng taga-dasma village kundi health concerns.
